They have different specials every night. For example, they 55% off every entree on Sunday nights. We ate there twice and had a pleasant experience both times. Good for casual, homey food Reviewed by spengle1 on Jul 19, 2010 ![]() We thought that previous excellent reviews were over the top. While this was a fine stop for average burgers, wraps, etc. the food was just average and my salad was disappointing...too much lettuce and not anything special. OK for a quick bite. Service was very good - friendly, helpful. Great Local Breakfast Place! Reviewed by ICCLConferences on Jul 19, 2010 ![]() We were on a girl's getaway weekend in Vail and chose this place for a Saturday brunch due to other TA recommendations; glad we did! We had a bit of trouble finding the place, as it's located right next to the front entrance of the Holiday Inn (don't listen to Google Maps). It was packed for a Saturday morning, but we only had a party of two - so they seated us right away, and were greeted by our waitress to take our drink orders as soon as we had settled. The cafe is small - a bit crowded, so don't go there for the atmosphere. It seemed to be a good mix of locals and tourists - the wait staff knew many of the locals by name and our waitress was very friendly and helpful with answering menu questions. My suggestions: 1. Orange Juice - tasted fresh squeezed, very good and a large glass. 2. Breakfast Burrito - EXCELLENT! I picked this from other TA reccos and would get it again. It's huge too! Could easily split with another person. Has a great smokey taste thanks to the applewood smoked bacon. 3. Denver Skillet - My friend had this, and it was cooked perfectly and had a great cheesy blend to it. Overall, we spent about $14-15/per person (coffee, juice, meal and tip). Not bad for Vail and with the breakfast burrito, I did not eat again until dinner! The Westside Cafe will be a must-visit on our next trip to Vail. Decent food, friendly service and good... Reviewed by Bassnfly on Jul 10, 2010 ![]() Decent food, friendly service and good value for the price. Really good bloody marys. We will go again. Good Food, priced right...service pretty slow Reviewed by redjet on Jul 3, 2010 ![]() On July 1, 2010 we stopped by for a late dinner after reading good reviews on TA. The food was good and priced right. Had a large menu with a lot of variations. The service however was very slow, the restaurant was about 3/4 full, with most folks wrapping up and it took around 40 minutes to get our food. I would recommend it though, because the food was pretty good for the money and being in a hotel. |
